Greenville Modern Quilt Guild is up and running for the new year!
We have returned to in person meetings with appropriate Covid precautions and those that wish to do so are comfortable wearing masks at the meetings. We thank those members whose efforts kept the guild going this past year via Zoom and other measures.
We are reaffirming our mission to the promotion of and education about MODERN QUILTING in all its numerous variations. This year we have co-chairmen for program planning and their goal is to provide us with a diverse experience; our own Cheryl Brickey, Jittery Wings, Lewis Carl and others are on the schedule or will be soon for this year.
MARCH workshop will be thread painting with Ruth Pollow. Ruth’s lecture will be April 2 and the all day workshop will be April 9.The cost for the workshop will be $45 which will include most everything you need. Information and sign-up sheet will be at the February meeting. Her maximum class size is 10 so please sign up early.
Plans are in the works to continue our popular annual retreat at Wildacres in the beautiful North Carolina mountains.
