Our guest speaker this month is local quilter, Tom Chalmers. Tom has been quilting since 1980 and his quilts are reminiscent of the work of Gee's Bend Quilters. His work features repurposed fabrics and hand quilting to create modern graphic designs.
Tom has exhibited at numerous shows throughout the country, most recently at the Aunt Het Quilt Show in Fountain Inn.

A Few Reminders
- Are you planning to enter a quilt in the 2019 Aunt Het Quilt Show? Faye Jones has volunteered to deliver your quilt and pick it up at the end of the show. You can bring your quilt to her at this month's meeting. Please be sure that all the necessary information is attached to the quilt with a safety pin.
- This month's Block of the Month is Right Hand Lane.
- Please return any library books that you have at home.
- Our "Free To A Good Home Table" will be available if you'd like to contribute.
