Hosting a Quilter's Journey
Isn't it great how quilters are able to connect, share and find fellowship with other quilters wherever they go? On Friday, May 25th, 2018 our guild hosted a group of traveling quilters from the UK, Spain and the US. The tour group was organized by Friendship Force of NC, which offers people from around the globe the opportunity to travel and experience the uniqueness of an area through local residents.
Our guild members came together and provided a Show and Share of our quilts, demonstrations of techniques, refreshments and a chance to learn more about modern quilting. We even provided each visitor with a hand-made tote, created by our talented members!
What a fun afternoon we had! Please enjoy some of the highlights from the day!
